Four drivers of unit price
- Cloth — the largest factor. The same jacket in a 40% wool blend and in pure Italian wool differ several times over.
- Volume — larger orders spread pattern-making and set-up across more garments.
- Degree of tailoring — a size chart costs less than measuring everyone.
- Finishing details — embroidery, custom linings, special buttons, trims.
