The challenge

Velmar's men and women share one office floor, so the uniform had to be consistent yet fit each build. Measuring needed to be contained in one meeting room so staff could wait their turn without leaving the floor.

02

Requirements

  • One uniform standard for men and women.
  • Each person measured individually, with posture noted.
  • Measuring at the office during working hours.
  • Records filed per employee.
03

Solution

  • The session set up in the meeting room; the tailor worked with one person at a time while colleagues waited nearby.
  • Figures entered in the book together with a posture photo of each employee.
  • Records filed against employee records; sample approved before production.
  • Three years of free alterations.
04

Process

The tailor worked with one person at a time while colleagues waited their turn in the room.

Measurements and posture photos were filed per employee.

Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →

05

Outcome

  • The whole staff measured in one meeting room at the office.
  • Each person's measurements and posture photo filed separately.
  • Records on file for later top-ups.
