The challenge
A construction group has office teams and site managers spread across many projects; the office uniform needed a single colour and cut so that colleagues recognise one another anywhere. The measuring day coincided with the group's 35th anniversary, so the session had to be compact and held right in the headquarters lobby.
Requirements
- Cloth colour matched to the Hoa Binh identity and settled during the visit.
- Each member of staff measured individually at headquarters.
- One standard cut across the office team.
- Measurements kept for future issue cycles.
Solution
- A measuring table set up in the lobby beneath the Hoa Binh logo; staff reviewed samples and chose cloth colours at the table before measuring.
- A recorder sat beside the tailor, writing each person's figures as they were taken.
- Colour direction settled within the session, with no follow-up appointment needed.
- Sample approved before production; measurements filed against employee records; three years of free alterations.
Process
Staff reviewed samples and picked cloth colours at the table before measuring, so the colour direction was settled within the session.
A colleague sat beside the tailor recording each person's measurements as they were taken.
Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →
Outcome
- Cloth colour and every person's measurements settled in one visit to the lobby.
- Each member of staff tailored to their own figures.
- Measurements on file for top-up orders as new projects open.
