The challenge
CNT Group needed hard-wearing, professional uniforms for its officers, staff and site workers, all carrying the group's identity; for the office team, measuring had to happen at their workstations without interrupting the day.
Requirements
- Hard-wearing, professional uniforms with one identity across the group.
- Each garment cut to the individual's measurements.
- Measuring at the office during working hours, each person away from work for only a few minutes.
- Masks worn throughout the session.
Solution
- The tailor moved through each work area and measured people beside their desks instead of gathering the whole office in one room.
- A colleague followed to record each person's figures on the spot.
- Every employee measured individually, men and women, to the same set of measurements.
- The team worked in masks and at the office's own pace.
Process
The session took place right in the office: the Mon Amie tailor measured shoulders, sleeves and jacket length for each person at their workstation, from private offices to the open-plan desks and partitioned cubicles.
A colleague followed with the notebook and kit bag, sitting at the nearest desk to record each person; the team and the staff wore masks throughout.
The visit closed with a photo in front of the CNT Group logo and the project model in the reception area.
Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →
Outcome
- The Mon Amie team completed the measuring in a single visit to the CNT Group office.
- Every employee has their own measurements for a garment made to fit, and nobody had to leave the office.
