The challenge

The Power Project Management Board employs both office staff and engineers who work out on project sites, so the uniform had to be formal, hard-wearing and suited to both settings, with measuring and sample fitting completed in one visit to the headquarters.

02

Requirements

  • Formal, hard-wearing uniforms for the office and for project sites alike.
  • Each garment cut to the individual's measurements, men and women.
  • Samples seen and tried on at the headquarters before anything was confirmed.
  • Measuring within working hours, without disrupting the Board's work.
03

Solution

  • A measuring point set up in the Board's meeting room: a tailor with each person, a colleague recording at the table.
  • Sample shirts brought in bags and laid out so everyone could try one on before their measurements were confirmed.
  • Office staff and engineers in site workwear measured alike, to the same set of measurements.
  • The Mon Amie team came to the headquarters with its full kit and worked to the Board's schedule.
04

Process

The measuring point was set up in the Board's meeting room: a Mon Amie tailor worked with each person while a colleague recorded the figures at the table; men and women came in turn during working hours.

Sample shirts came along in bags and were laid out on the table for everyone to try before measurements were confirmed; engineers still in site workwear were measured on the spot as well.

The team arrived with its full kit in a suitcase, and the visit closed with a photo of the Mon Amie team in front of the Board's headquarters building.

Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →

05

Outcome

  • The Mon Amie team completed the measuring in a single visit to the Board's headquarters.
  • Every officer and engineer has their own measurements and has tried a sample before tailoring begins.
  • A photo of the team in front of the headquarters building closed the visit.
