The challenge
MEDEZE needed uniform suits for its office staff, with jacket and trousers both made to measure. So that staff could decide on the real cut and cloth rather than from pictures, sample jackets had to be brought to the meeting room ahead of measuring.
Requirements
- Matching suits, jacket and trousers tailored for each person.
- Cut and cloth seen on a real sample before measuring.
- Measuring at the office in one session.
- Measurements kept for reorders.
Solution
- Sample jackets laid out on the MEDEZE meeting-room table for staff to see the cut and cloth.
- The tailor measured shoulders, sleeves, jacket and trouser lengths for each person, with a colleague recording beside him.
- Sample approved before production; measurements filed against employee records.
- Three years of free alterations.
Process
Sample jackets came along so staff could see the cut and cloth before measuring, with a colleague recording beside the tailor.
Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →
Outcome
- Staff saw the real cut and cloth before sign-off, within the same session.
- Each person's full jacket and trouser measurements recorded on the spot.
- Measurements on file for later top-ups.
