The challenge

For the leadership of a steel company, a representative suit must fit more closely than ordinary uniform — each person has their own stance and set of the shoulders. Measurements alone are not enough; the tailor needs to see the figure to build the jacket correctly.

02

Requirements

  • Suits for executives, individually tailored.
  • Posture recorded alongside measurements.
  • A compact session in the company's meeting room.
  • Records kept so the next suit needs no second measuring.
03

Solution

  • The Mon Amie team brought its kit to the GB Steel meeting room.
  • Shoulders, sleeves and jacket length measured for each executive.
  • A posture photo of each person taken by the recorder for the tailor's reference when building the jacket.
  • Sample approved before production; figures and photos filed per person; three years of free alterations.
04

Process

Besides the measurements, a posture photo of each person was taken.

Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →

05

Outcome

  • Each executive with measurements and a posture reference for a suit cut to their stance.
  • The session completed in one meeting room, to the company's schedule.
  • Records on file for the next order.
