The challenge
Central Tech Vietnam has office staff and technical workers under one roof, so the uniform had to be neat and comfortable on the production floor yet presentable in the office, with measuring done inside the plant itself.
Requirements
- Neat, comfortable uniforms for technical workers on the production floor.
- A presentable office uniform that shares one identity with the plant.
- Each garment cut to the individual's measurements, staff and workers alike.
- Measuring at the plant, with masks worn throughout the session.
Solution
- A first measuring point at reception for office staff, then the team moved out to the yard, workshop and canteen to measure workers on the spot.
- A tailor with each person, a colleague filling in a measurement sheet per employee.
- Workers measured in the workshop and canteen, queuing in turn.
- Masks worn by the measuring team and everyone being measured, throughout.
Process
The session opened at the reception desk under the CTi logo: a Mon Amie tailor measured each employee in the company's blue shirt while a colleague filled in the measurement sheets; the Mon Amie bags sat ready on the counter.
The team then moved out to the yard and into the workshop and canteen to measure technical workers where they work, many of them in production uniform, with workers queuing for their turn.
The visit closed with a photo of the Mon Amie team in front of the Central Tech Incorporation Vietnam sign at the plant gate.
Following Mon Amie's standard six steps: consultation → design & cloth → sample approval → individual measuring → production → delivery & three-year warranty. See the process →
Outcome
- The Mon Amie team spent a full visit at the Central Tech plant, covering the office lobby and the production areas.
- Every employee and worker has their own measurement sheet for a garment made to fit.
