Uniforms for cosmetics companies: standards, fabrics and cost
Cosmetics company uniforms should be clean-lined, skin-friendly and easy to launder. Mon Amie Uniform covers standards, fabrics and prices from 480,000 VND.

A good cosmetics company uniform lets beauty advisors look polished and easy to find at the counter without competing with the products on display. It rests on three things: colours that match the brand, fabrics that are gentle on skin and easy to launder, and a cut that lets an advisor stand, lean in and demonstrate products comfortably through a full shift.
Who wears what
Uniforms usually follow roles rather than a single look for everyone:
- Beauty advisors at counters and stores spend the most time with customers. A shirt or neat-collared top with trousers or a skirt is the usual base. Ask this group for feedback early, because they wear the uniform all day.
- Counter and store managers wear the same colour family, with a waistcoat or ladies' jacket so customers can spot the person in charge.
- Warehouse and delivery staff do well in polos or T-shirts that breathe and wash easily.
- Head-office teams share one visible element with the sales floor, such as colour, scarf or logo placement, in a simpler cut.
Standards worth checking
A cosmetics counter is already full of colour, so the uniform acts as a backdrop. Before approving a sample, review these points:
- Colour: neutral or brand-tone, with minimal pattern. Pure white shows foundation and lipstick quickly, while very dark shades show powder dust. Mid-tones tend to keep a shirt looking clean longer.
- Sleeves: short or three-quarter, so product demonstrations and hand-washing do not soak the cuff.
- Collar: soft and low-profile. A stiff or high collar gets in the way when an advisor leans over a customer.
- Wash durability: frequent laundering without colour loss or pilling, and no lingering fragrance or oil from the counter.
- Logo and badge position: fixed, visible and clear of seams so the garment does not pucker.
Mon Amie Uniform has crafted uniforms for service-led sectors such as hospitality; the photo below shows a project with Bài Thơ Hạ Long. Our page on hotel and restaurant uniforms shows how guest-facing teams are dressed.

Fabrics for a counter environment
Counters usually sit in air-conditioned malls, yet advisors still stand, walk and demonstrate all day, so fabric must breathe, resist creasing and recover its shape. Real swatches are shown to your team at the design stage, and you can browse our fabric library beforehand.
| Fabric family | Strengths | Watch out for | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cotton-polyester blend | Breathable, low-crease, durable | Less soft than pure cotton | Advisor shirts |
| Polyester-viscose with spandex | Holds shape, light stretch | Press on medium heat | Jackets, trousers, skirts |
| Cotton piqué | Absorbent, hard-wearing | Softer structure, not for jackets | Polos for warehouse and delivery |

Frequently asked questions
What colour should a cosmetics company uniform be?
Choose a neutral or on-brand tone and avoid busy patterns, since products already supply plenty of colour. Very white or very dark fabrics reveal foundation, lipstick or powder faster. Mon Amie presents three options in your brand colours so you can compare before approving.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the item: women's jackets and waistcoats from 5 pieces, shirts, trousers, skirts and accessories from 20, T-shirts and polos from 30. We will explain how the minimums apply to your mix of items during consultation.
How do new hires get their uniforms?
Measurements are stored under employee IDs, and new staff order additional pieces from the approved sample, so they match the existing team. Alterations are covered by the free 3-year warranty at every showroom.
Do cosmetics counter uniforms stain easily with foundation or lipstick?
Any fabric can show marks, but how much depends on the colour and the fibre: pure white and very dark shades usually show marks more than mid-tones. Before approving the sample, wash one test shirt that has foundation or lipstick on it and see whether the mark lifts fully. Mon Amie shows real fabric swatches at the design stage so your team can handle and test them.
