Uniforms for car showrooms: standards, fabrics and cost
Car showroom uniforms need a clean jacket cut, low-crease fabric and brand colours. Mon Amie Uniform covers standards, fabrics and prices from 3,000,000 VND.

A car showroom uniform lets sales consultants and service advisors look polished and trustworthy while discussing a high-value purchase. A good one passes three tests: a cut that stays comfortable when climbing into a vehicle or standing beside it for hours, fabric that resists creasing until closing time, and colours that match both the manufacturer and the dealership.
Who wears what at a dealership
Each role meets customers differently, so uniforms usually follow roles:
- Sales consultants greet visitors, walk around display vehicles and sit inside them to demonstrate features. A jacket with shirt and tie or scarf is the usual base.
- Service advisors receive vehicles, record requests and sometimes step into the workshop with the customer. Shirt, trousers and a waistcoat or light jacket keep them neat, and the fabric should launder easily.
- Sales and service managers wear the same colour family with one distinguishing detail, such as a jacket where the team wears waistcoats.
- Reception, cashiers and back-office staff wear shirts with trousers or skirts, sharing colour and logo position with the sales floor.
Standards to check before approving a sample
The vehicle is the star of a showroom, so the uniform should be a quiet backdrop. Review these points:
- Jacket fit: comfortable shoulders and sleeves wide enough to point at vehicle details. When a consultant sits in the driver's seat to explain a feature, a tight jacket pulls across the back and pushes the collar up. Ask the wearer to try that movement at sample stage.
- Creasing: staff get in and out of cars many times a day, so fabric must recover at elbows, knees and lower back.
- Colour: navy, grey or black rarely clash with vehicle colours. Brand tones can appear in the tie, scarf, logo or waistcoat.
- Pockets and badges: pockets should not bulge with keys and phones; badges and logos sit in a fixed position away from seams.
Dealership management and back-office teams run much like a small company, and Mon Amie Uniform has a page on office and corporate uniforms for that need. We have worked with Tập đoàn CNT, and the photo below shows one project in that group.

Fabrics for people who stand, sit and walk all day
A showroom is air-conditioned, yet staff move constantly between the display floor, the consultation desk and the car park. Fabric should breathe, resist creasing and stretch lightly across shoulders and back. Real swatches are shown to your team at the design stage.
| Fabric family | Strengths | Watch out for | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polyester-viscose with spandex | Holds shape, light stretch, low crease | Press on medium heat | Jackets, waistcoats, trousers |
| Cotton-polyester blend | Breathable, durable | Less soft than pure cotton | Shirts |
| Cotton piqué | Absorbent, hard-wearing | Soft structure, not for jackets | Polos for service staff |

Frequently asked questions
What colour should showroom uniforms be?
Use a neutral tone such as navy, grey or black for jackets and trousers, then bring in the brand colour through ties, scarves or the logo. This respects the brand without competing with the vehicles. Mon Amie presents three options in your colours so you can compare before approving.
Should service advisors wear a jacket or just a shirt?
It depends on where they work. If advisors often walk into the workshop, shirt, trousers and a waistcoat are neater and easier to launder than a jacket. If they mostly work at a reception desk, a light jacket matches the sales team. We include both options in the proposal.
How do new hires get their uniforms?
New staff are measured individually and made to the approved sample so they match the team; measurements already taken are stored under employee IDs for later batches. Alterations are covered by the free 3-year warranty at every showroom.
