Bank staff uniforms: standards, fabrics and cost
Bank uniforms should signal trust, match across branches and stay comfortable at the counter. Mon Amie Uniform covers standards and prices from 480,000 VND.

A bank uniform lets customers recognise staff the moment they enter the hall, signals trust, and looks identical in every branch. A well-made set pairs brand-accurate colour with a clean, low-crease fabric that stays comfortable through a full day at the counter, and it comes with a reorder process so new hires always match the existing team.
Who wears what
Uniforms usually follow roles within one colour family:
- Tellers at the counter wear a shirt with trousers or a skirt, sometimes a waistcoat. They sit for long periods and work with their hands constantly, so sleeves and shoulders must move freely.
- Relationship and advisory staff wear a suit jacket or waistcoat over a shirt, since they usually meet customers at a private desk.
- Branch and transaction-office managers wear a jacket in the team's tone so the person in charge is easy to find.
- Lobby and greeting staff wear a neat set with accessories such as a tie or scarf, which helps customers find the right person on arrival.
- Security staff wear a separate industry uniform that is easy to recognise.

Standards worth checking
Customers form part of their trust in a bank from how its people look, so review these points before approving a sample:
- Brand colour: many banks have a strong identity palette. We present three design options based on it; roles can be distinguished by accessories or logo placement rather than by changing the base colour.
- Consistency across branches: every branch uses the same approved sample. Measurements are stored under employee IDs, and new staff or new branches reorder from the approved sample so they match.
- Seated comfort: a little stretch in the fabric, no waistband or back seam digging in after long sitting, and a low collar so staff can lean over documents.
- Badge and logo: fixed position, easy for customers to read, and clear of seams that make the garment pucker.
Mon Amie Uniform has worked with ACBS Securities, a company in the finance sector. The photo below records that project.

Fabrics for a bank environment
Banking halls are air-conditioned and staff mostly sit or stand, so flat, low-crease fabric that recovers its shape is the priority. Real swatches are shown to your team at the design stage.
| Fabric family | Strengths | Watch out for | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cotton-polyester blend | Breathable, low-crease, durable | Less soft than pure cotton | Teller shirts |
| Polyester-viscose with spandex | Holds shape, light stretch | Press on medium heat | Jackets, waistcoats, trousers, skirts |
| Cotton piqué | Absorbent, hard-wearing | Softer structure, not for jackets | Polos for support staff |

Frequently asked questions
Should tellers wear a jacket or a waistcoat?
It depends on your identity and the working climate. A waistcoat is neat, breathable and easy to move in at a counter; a jacket suits managers and advisors who host clients. A common pairing is waistcoats at the counter and jackets for managers, in one fabric tone.
Can measuring happen outside trading hours?
Our mobile measuring team works to your schedule, including outside office hours, so sessions can be arranged around counter shifts. The exact timetable is agreed at the survey.
How do we outfit a newly opened branch?
Measurements are stored under employee IDs, and top-up orders follow the approved sample, so new branches match existing ones. We confirm lead time for a top-up order during consultation.
What is the minimum order?
Jackets and waistcoats from 5; shirts, trousers, skirts and accessories from 20. We explain how the minimums apply to your mix during consultation.
