Retail chain uniforms: standards, fabrics and cost
Retail chain uniforms must match in every store and last a full shift. Mon Amie Uniform covers standards, fabrics and polos from 150,000 VND.

A retail chain uniform makes store staff and managers look like one team, so a customer walking into any outlet recognises the same brand. Unlike an office, a chain has many points of sale and staff who may change often, so the uniform has to survive a full shift on the shop floor, be easy to reorder in batches, and keep its colour consistent from store to store.
Who wears what
Each role in a store has its own rhythm, so uniforms are clearer when they follow roles:
- Sales assistants walk, stand and bend to reach stock all day. A polo or shirt with trousers or a skirt is the usual base, chosen to suit the store's style.
- Cashiers and counter staff stay near one spot but face customers constantly, so a neat shirt or polo with a comfortable collar works well.
- Store managers and shift leaders wear the same colour family plus a waistcoat or ladies' jacket, so customers can find the person who can help.
- Warehouse and delivery staff do well in breathable, easily washed polos or T-shirts.
- Head-office teams share colour and logo placement with the stores, in a cut closer to our corporate and head-office uniforms.
What a chain needs that an office does not
Four points are worth planning from the start:
- One approved master sample. Every store wears the same pattern, so the sample must be reviewed carefully. Mon Amie produces only after your company signs it off.
- Repeat orders. Store staff may come and go often. Measurements are stored under employee IDs, and new hires order from the approved sample.
- A fabric record. Note the fabric name and colour in the sample approval so later batches have a reference.
- Measuring without interrupting trade. Our mobile team visits on your schedule, including outside office hours; the measuring location is agreed during consultation.
For recognition, the uniform colour should stand apart from displayed goods, so customers can spot staff at a glance. The photo below records a Mon Amie Uniform project with Tập đoàn Xây dựng Hòa Bình.

Fabrics for a full shift on your feet
Stores are usually air-conditioned, but staff still stand and move for hours, so fabric must breathe, absorb moisture and recover after washing. You can browse our fabric library first; real swatches are shown at the design stage.
| Fabric family | Strengths | Watch out for | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cotton piqué | Absorbent, hard-wearing, easy to wash | Soft structure, not for jackets | Sales and warehouse polos |
| Cotton-polyester blend | Breathable, low-crease | Less soft than pure cotton | Shirts |
| Polyester-viscose with spandex | Holds shape, light stretch | Press on medium heat | Trousers, skirts, waistcoats, manager jackets |
Our design library is a good place to explore silhouettes before the consultation.
Budgeting for the whole chain
Mon Amie publishes starting prices by category; real prices depend on fabric, style and quantity.
| Item | From | Minimum quantity |
|---|---|---|
| T-shirts and polos | 150,000 VND | 30 |
| Men's / women's shirt | 600,000 / 480,000 VND | 20 |
| Trousers and skirts | 600,000 VND | 20 |
| Waistcoat | 600,000 VND | 5 |
| Women's business suits | 1,500,000 VND | 5 sets |
| Accessories (scarves, etc.) | 150,000 VND | 20 |
Each figure above is the starting price for that item alone, not a quotation. A chain with many stores usually reaches the 30-piece minimum for polos without difficulty, and we explain how the minimums apply during consultation.

Frequently asked questions
Should each store order separately or share one pattern?
Share one approved pattern so customers recognise the brand at every outlet. Orders can be split into batches, and anyone already measured has their details stored under their employee ID.
How do new stores and new hires get uniforms?
They order additional pieces from the approved sample so they match the existing team. Alterations are covered by the free 3-year warranty at every showroom.
Polo or shirt for sales assistants?
A polo is breathable and easy to wash, suited to busy stores; a shirt looks sharper for service-led stores. Many chains use both: polos on the floor, shirts and waistcoats for managers.
What colour helps customers tell staff from the displayed goods?
Choose a colour that stands apart from the merchandise on display while staying within your brand palette, so customers can spot staff at a glance. Mon Amie presents three options in your brand colours, with real swatches, for you to compare before approving the sample.
