Women's business suits

Professional should never mean uncomfortable.

A women's uniform jacket must look sharp at the front desk and still feel easy after eight hours at a desk. We cut for Vietnamese proportions — gently shaped at the waist, clean at the shoulder, free through the arm — and tailor for each woman rather than forcing everyone into one size chart.

Why Mon Amie

Women's business suits, tailored like executive clothing

Since 1991 Hoang Vy – Mon Amie has tailored for Saigon's business leaders. Your uniforms are made by the same tailors, in the same 1,000 m² atelier on 3/2 Street.

The team at the industrial machines
  1. 01

Measured one by one, never a generic size

Our mobile team measures every employee at your office, on your schedule. Measurements are filed by staff ID, so re-orders need no re-measuring.

  2. 02

    Cut for Vietnamese proportions

Our women's blocks are adjusted for Asian frames: narrower shoulder, higher waist, sleeves that move. The result looks neat, never boxy like imported size charts.

  3. 03

Jacket, skirt and trousers in one cloth

Jacket, skirt and trousers are cut from the same bolt so the shade matches exactly. Each woman can choose skirt or trousers for her role while the team still looks as one.

  4. 04

    Three-year alteration warranty

People change shape and roles — alterations are free for three years. New joiners are tailored into the exact design and shade the team already wears.

Who it is for

Women's business suits suit

The right line for the right role — budget goes where it makes the strongest impression.

  • Reception and front-desk teams of corporate groups, hotels and grade-A office towers — the first face a visitor meets
  • Tellers and counter advisers in banks, insurance and securities firms
  • Women in middle and senior management who need suiting that matches the men's suits of the leadership team
  • Show-house reception and property consultants who walk clients through sites all day
  • Reception and administration in clinics and pharmaceutical companies — light, approachable, still formal
  • Teachers and staff at international schools on ceremony days and parent meetings

Four things decide the final price

  • Cloth

The single largest factor. The same jacket in a 40% wool blend and in pure Italian wool differ several times over.

  • Volume

Larger orders spread pattern-making and line set-up across more garments. This is where real savings come from — not from lowering quality.

  • Degree of tailoring

Making to a standard size chart costs less than measuring every person. For leadership and client-facing roles we always recommend measuring.

  • Finishing details

Logo embroidery, custom linings, special buttons, contrast trims — each adds a small amount that is best budgeted from the start.

Up close

The details that make a proper uniform

  1. 01

    Collar

A narrow lapel or a collarless front for a cleaner line; the lapel canvas is lighter than on a men's jacket so the shoulder never looks heavy. The collar is chosen to suit the shirt beneath: a narrow lapel with a bow-collar shirt, collarless with a classic collar.

  2. 02

    Sleeves

Full-length sleeves measured to the wrist bone; three-quarter sleeves for front-of-house roles that need easy movement. A high armhole lets the arm lift without pulling the body of the jacket.

  3. 03

    Buttons

Self-covered or metal-shanked buttons. Women's jackets usually close with one button at the waist — placed at each wearer's true waistline, not the block's.

  4. 04

    Trims

Lapel edge, pocket mouth or hem bound in a contrasting cloth — the clearest way to set reception apart from the wider office while keeping one palette.

  5. 05

    Pockets

Jetted or mock-flap hip pockets to preserve the line — women's jackets are not meant to carry in the outer pockets. An inside left pocket sized for a phone and staff card.

  6. 06

    Logo & names

A small embroidered logo at the left chest or on the lining; name badge on the right. A magnetic badge is advised so pins never mark the cloth.

Size chart or made to measure

Two ways to make it — chosen by role, not by guesswork

To a size chart

  • Large office teams who wear the jacket occasionally or on scheduled client days
  • Multi-branch programmes that must deliver at once and top up easily from stock sizes
  • Budgets that prioritise daily shirts and skirts, with the jacket as an outer layer worn less often
  • A fast run for an opening, with sleeves and hems adjusted on delivery

Made to measure

  • Reception and front desk — where a jacket that is off at the shoulder or bust is noticed immediately
  • Women in management and on the executive team whose suits stand beside the leadership's men's suits
  • Anyone whose shoulder, bust or waist differs from the chart — the three points where women's jackets most often fail
  • Companies that want measurements filed by staff ID for re-orders after a change of shape or during pregnancy

Both can be combined in one programme: office staff to a chart, managers and client-facing roles measured. On-site measuring →

Process

Six steps, no surprises

  1. 01

    Consultation & site visit

We visit your workplace to understand your brand identity, the dress code of each department, working conditions and budget. You receive a written proposal with an indicative budget.

Three design directions built around your brand colours, presented with real cloth swatches. Materials chosen for the tropics and for how hard each role works.

  3. 03

  4. 04

    Individual measuring

Our mobile team measures every employee at your office, on your schedule. All measurements are kept on file against employee records for future orders.

    Delivery & 3-year warranty

Delivered, re-fitted and altered on site for anyone who needs it. Free alterations for three years, and new joiners can reorder against the approved design.

Questions

Before you ask for a quote

What happens when a team member is pregnant or changes size?

Measurements are filed by staff ID, so we can tailor an individual replacement in the same design and shade. Alterations to fit are free throughout the three-year warranty.

What is the minimum order for women's business suits?

5 pieces. The larger the order, the more pattern and set-up costs are shared across each garment — a genuine saving that never touches quality.

How long does production take?

Typically four to six weeks from sample approval, depending on volume and cloth. For launches and events with fixed dates, let us know early so we can reserve atelier time.

Do you measure at our premises?

Yes. Our mobile team measures every employee at your office on your schedule, including outside working hours. Measurements are filed by staff ID for future orders.

Is there a warranty?

Yes — a three-year free alteration warranty. If someone's size changes or a garment needs adjusting, simply send it back to the atelier.
