Logistics company uniforms: standards, fabrics and cost

A logistics company uniform is a set of clothing divided across three working environments: the warehouse, the road and the office. A good one is durable and easy to wash for handlers, breathable for delivery crews, polished for people who meet partners, and recognisably one brand across all three. This guide covers who wears what, selection criteria, fabrics and starting prices.

Who wears what

Area Who Suggested outfit Priority
Warehouse Warehouse, loading and operations staff Polo or T-shirt, hard-wearing trousers Breathable, durable, easy to wash
Delivery Delivery crews, route coordinators Polo, trousers Quick-drying, visible from a distance
Warehouse managers, dispatch Shift leaders, managers Shirt, waistcoat Mark the supervisory role
Office Documentation, customer service, sales Shirt, trousers, skirt; jacket for partner meetings Polished, shared brand colours

Standards worth checking before approval

Warehouse and delivery work differs from office work: people bend, lift, climb in and out of trucks and face sun and rain. Review these points:

  • Breathable and sweat-absorbing: warehouses are often hot and stuffy, so a cotton piqué polo or a blended T-shirt feels better than heavy cloth.
  • Colourfast, strong seams: frequent washing, dust and grease should not fade or pill the fabric; underarms and crotch seams are stitched firmly.
  • Free movement: shirts not too tight across the shoulders, trousers with light stretch for squatting and bending.
  • Safety: avoid drawstrings and dangling accessories near machinery and forklifts. A uniform does not replace protective equipment; safety gear under your company's rules is arranged separately.
  • Identity: colour and logo let customers recognise your delivery crew; departments can be told apart by polo or collar colour so supervisors see at a glance who belongs where.
  • One brand: keep at least one shared element across warehouse, delivery and office, such as the main colour or logo position.

Measuring, making and delivering for shift teams

Hoàng Vy – Mon Amie was founded in 1991, runs a 1,000 m² workshop on 3/2 Street with more than 80 skilled tailors, and works with more than 500 companies each year. The six steps:

  1. Survey and consultation at your company, ending with a proposal and price range.
  2. Design and fabrics: three options built on your brand colours, with real swatches.
  3. Approved sample: production starts only after you sign off the sample.
  4. Individual measuring at the warehouse or office on your schedule, including outside office hours, which suits shift teams. Measurements are stored under employee IDs.
  5. Production with quality checks at three stages (cutting, assembly, finishing) and weekly progress updates.
  6. Delivery, fitting and adjustment on site, plus free alteration warranty for 3 years at every showroom.

Allow 4–6 weeks after sample approval for measuring, making and delivery. When peak periods need extra people, new hires are measured individually and made to the approved sample so they match the existing team, while stored measurements serve later orders.

Frequently asked questions

What should warehouse staff wear?

A cotton piqué polo or a cotton-polyester T-shirt, because both absorb sweat and breathe. Trousers should be durable with light stretch for bending and squatting. Mon Amie presents three options in your brand colours for comparison before approval.

Can a uniform replace protective equipment?

No. A uniform serves identity and comfort; protective gear follows your company's own safety rules. Tell us during the survey which safety gear your teams use, so the cut does not get in the way.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the item: T-shirts and polos from 30 pieces, shirts, trousers, skirts, industry uniforms and accessories from 20, waistcoats from 5. We explain the minimums for your mix during consultation.
