Building management uniforms: standards, fabrics and cost
Building management uniforms should make reception, technical and security roles clear. Mon Amie Uniform covers fabrics and prices from 300,000 VND.

A good uniform for a building management team lets residents and visitors tell reception, technical staff and security apart at a glance, while giving the whole building a dependable feel. It rests on three things: roles made clear through colour and detail, fabric that survives long shifts and frequent laundering, and an even standard of smartness, since residents meet the same staff every day.
Who wears what
Three main groups work in very different places, so uniforms follow roles:
- Reception is the face of the building in the lobby. Women usually wear a jacket or waistcoat with a shirt and a skirt or trousers; men wear a jacket or waistcoat and shirt, possibly with a tie.
- Technical staff move between plant rooms, technical floors and apartments or offices. A polo or long-sleeved shirt with durable trousers and practical pockets works well.
- Security works in shifts, including nights, and needs a formal, darker set with clear identification.
- Managers and shift leaders wear a jacket or waistcoat in the same tones so residents know who is responsible.
Standards worth checking
Before approving a sample, review these points:
- Roles through colour and detail: one shared identity base, then differences in collar colour, scarf, tie or badge. Residents see at once who they are speaking to.
- Wash tolerance for shifts: staff on rotating shifts need spare sets, so plan from two sets per person. Fabric should not fade or pill after repeated washing.
- Visibility in low light: nights, car parks and corridors call for clear name badges and insignia.
- Breathable and low-crease: lobbies are air-conditioned but technical floors and outdoor areas are hot and humid.
- Building logo and name badge: an embroidered logo on the left chest and a fixed badge so residents can address the right person.
Our page on real estate uniforms covers this sector more broadly. The photo below records a project of Mon Amie Uniform with Blue Sea Group.

Fabrics by post
Each post asks for different qualities: reception needs shape, technical staff need durability and absorbency, security needs a firm, low-crease cloth. Real swatches are shown at the design stage, and you can browse our fabric library beforehand.
| Fabric family | Strengths | Watch out for | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polyester-viscose with spandex | Holds shape, light stretch, low-crease | Press on medium heat | Reception jackets, trousers, skirts; security wear |
| Cotton-polyester blend | Breathable, low-crease, durable | Less soft than pure cotton | Reception and security shirts |
| Cotton piqué | Absorbent, hard-wearing | Soft structure, not for jackets | Polos for technical staff |

Frequently asked questions
How do we tell reception, technical and security apart?
Use one shared colour base for the building, then vary details such as collar colour, scarf or badge. Mon Amie presents three options in your brand colours so the management team can compare before approving the sample.
How many sets does shift staff need?
It depends on how shifts are organised and how often garments are washed. For staff on long shifts, plan from two sets per person so they can rotate. We advise in the proposal.
How do we keep several buildings consistent?
The approved sample is shared across sites. A new hire in any building is measured individually and made to the same sample; measurements already taken are stored under employee IDs for later batches. Alterations are covered by the free 3-year warranty at every showroom.
What is the minimum order?
Jackets and waistcoats from 5 pieces; shirts, trousers, skirts and industry uniforms from 20; T-shirts and polos from 30. We explain how the minimums apply during consultation.
